How can I save a draft in the MyPostcard App?

In order to be able to save your card as a draft with the text, image and address you have already entered, you must create a MyPostcard account and log in with us. Depending on which platform you use MyPostcard on, saving drafts works a little differently. Here you will find the explanations for our web, iOS and Android applications:

iOS

If you use the MyPostcard app on iOS, your progress in writing postcards will be saved automatically. To be on the safe side, you can also manually save your card as a draft on the last page of the ordering process. To do this, click on the gray download icon next to the displayed total price. You can see your saved designs by clicking on the menu bar on the left of the app and going to "My Orders". There you will find your orders, which are automatically saved for you after they have been sent, as well as your drafts, which you can reload from there and then continue your ordering process as normal from the point where you left off the last time! Note, however, that you can only change the card text and recipient of a reloaded card, not the card's theme.

Android

If you use the MyPostcard app on Android, your progress in writing postcards will not be saved automatically. We are currently still working on the feature! However, you can manually save your card as a draft on the last page of the checkout process. To do this, click the gray download icon next to the total price displayed. You can see your saved designs by clicking on the menu bar on the left of the app and going to "Orders". There you will find your orders, which are automatically saved for you after they have been sent, as well as your drafts, which you can reload from there and then continue your ordering process as normal from the point where you left off the last time!

Web

If you use MyPostcard on the web, you can save your card as a draft in the Write and Preview steps. To save your card as a draft, you need to click on the gray "Save draft" button that you see at the bottom of both pages. In order to reload your draft, you need to click on "My Account" at the top of the page. If you are on the account page you will see a menu item with "My drafts" in your menu from which you can reload your drafts and then edit them again!
